Current time in Miami, FloridaThe Florida Keys and Key West are at the bottom of the map. You will be hearing/reading a lot about the Florida Keys in the next 12 hours or so. It's looking more likely that the eye of powerful Hurricane Irma will strike the Keys, southwestern Florida and the Tampa Bay region. The U.S. National Hurricane Center said the storm is expected to strike the Sunshine State as a dangerous Category 4 storm.
